Join us during the opening week of the New Museum’s 2018 Triennial: “Songs for Sabotage” for a special artist panel with Triennial artists Cian Dayrit, Haroon Gunn-Salie, and Shen Xin, moderated by the exhibition’s curators. “Songs for Sabotage” adopts the notion of sabotage as a model for artistic production, positing that what unites these artists is an understanding of the inescapability of global political and economic networks and a desire to respond with individual, localized gestures.
Generous funding is provided by the Charlotte and Bill Ford Artist Talks Fund.
Support for public programs is provided, in part, by public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature, and from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council.
